Anna logic

This morning Anna was upset about something and threw her favorite stuffed dog across the room. Trying to calm her down, I decided to appeal to her sensitive side. I said, "Anna, look what you just did to poor little Lily!" Anna's answer, "Mom, she doesn't even have a spirit." How could I argue with that?
